STFC XXV Main Event: Fuentes vs Vega for The Featherweight Title

STFC recently announced on their Facebook that DJ Fuentes(8-8) will be defending his featherweight title against Brownsville native Luis Vega. Fuentes has been off for a year and half since his last battle against Nick Gonzalez for the now defunct promotion, UWF. While Fuentes has been on the sideline helping other fighters train for their fights. Vega on the other hand just came off a spit decision win in Corpus Christi this past weekend for the Xtreme Combat promotion.

Also rumored to be happening is the return of the heavyweights! The event will be happening on May 24, 2013 at the Mcallen Convention Center. We will have more information as the details are revealed.
