South Texas Fighting Championship(STFC) just announced their summer show official fight card named “Rampage”. The 7-fight card is headlined by Gracie Barra Head Muay Thai instructor Frank Trevino(8-0) defending his middleweight title against one of Corpus Christi’s finest, Cory Bellino(6-1).
It’s been awhile since we had a good title match up here in the Valley, especially in STFC where the records warrant a title shot and through the post-interview that Trevino gave at STFC 20, there seems to be a bit of history between these two. The rest of the undercard looks to be action-filled card with some upcoming talent with the likes of Miguel Vega, Luis Vega’s younger brother, in his pro-debut taking on David Saldaña who is looking to rebound from a loss to co-main eventer, “El Mero Mero” Saul Elizondo.
Tickets are reasonably priced at $20 – $75 but beware, if you go through Ticketmaster to get your tickets be prepared to be gouged with extra fees. I suggest going to the McAllen Convention Center Box office to pick up a pair, not only will you pay less, you also get to save money for beer. Oh, and you get the luxury of selecting what seats you want!
And just because I’m in a good mood, here is the seating chart so you and your comrades can sit next to the nearest bar.
