Upcoming RGV Combat Shows: The Boxing Titans and STFC Carnage

The first weekend of November is going to be a great one for fight fans!

On November 1st, STFC will be putting on a historical event that will be headlined by two woman with Monica Flores from Houston, Texas taking on Maria Lopez out of Cap City(Austin, TX) for the first time in the promotions history. It’s been quite some time now that the woman have graced the STFC cage but with the rise in WMMA and the awareness that woman are just as tough as men, there really is no better time to let the ladies take center stage. Also appearing on the card are Saul Elizondo, David Armas who recently defeated Luis Vega by KO, Andrew Garza and many more local favorites.

After the ladies duke it out on Friday night, NORD promotions will be having their first show at the State Farm Arena titled “The Boxing Titans”. The 9 fight card will have a plethora of local talent with the likes of Isaac Torres, Hector Gutierrez and Enrique Alvarez. “The Boxing Titans” will be headlined by Roberto “La Amenaza” Garcia 32-3, 22 KO’s taking on Antonio Mesquita 35-3, 27 KO’s for the UBF World title belt. The show was originally scheduled to feature Raul “El Tigre” Casarez in the under card but has since been replaced by “El Gallo Negro” J.P De La Rosa(20-3) who resides in Harlingen, Tx. De La Rosa will be making his return to the ring after a 4 year lay off.
