Strikeforce – Rockhold vs Jardine

AKA’s Luke Rockhold is still a developing fighter, but he looked pretty impressive in beating a top level guy like Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza in September of 2011. Really well rounded guy, he is equally good at everything in his game. Also he has an appeal that hopefully could make him a future star in mixed martial arts. Keith Jardine didn’t really deserve this title shot after how he’s looked against Mousasi, Prangley, Hamill, Bader, Thiago Silva, Rampage, and Wanderlei Silva. It’ll be a shock if Jardine does something good in this, I expect Rockhold to outstrike and soundly beat Jardine the same way that DEA agent Hank Schrader beat up Keith Jardine on that episode of Breaking Bad.

As for the rest of the main card, most of these fights will probably showcase the abilities of Robbie Lawler, King Mo, and Tarec Saffiedine. Saffiedine looked amazing the last time he fought, as he picked Scott Smith apart in route to a decision win. I expect Tyron Woodley to also beat Jordan Mein, but Mein is a tough guy and I expect to see him put up a good fight against Pat Miletich’s favorite rising star.
