Former UFC Fighter Hermes Franca Will Be Sent to Jail for Sexually Assaulting One of His Students
The 37-year-old turned himself in May after a warrant was issued for his arrest that comes from a late 2010 incident that occurred at his Team Hermes Franca Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy.
He was arraigned in May on seven counts of first-degree sexual abuse and two counts of second-degree unlawful sexual penetration. He pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful penetration and one count of first-degree sexual abuse. He will serve 42 months for the charges with the other remaining charges being dropped.
