MMA Library – Chael Sonnen vs Tim McKenzie

After Sonnen’s first UFC run, he headed over to Bodog after losing to Jeremy Horn at UFC 60 (5/27/06).  The future nemesis to Anderson Silva was improving his game in Bodog, and this is one of the great highlights of his Bodog tenure. He gets a front headlock and gets in a nice inside leg trip to take the fight to the ground. Sonnen then quickly locks in the bravo choke (aka D’Arce choke) for the quick victory.  Thirteen second submission, very slick stuff from the gangster from West Linn, Oregon.

He finally got his first UFC win via submission (via arm triangle) at UFC 136 against Brian Stann, will we see another submission against Mark Munoz at UFC on Fox 2 on January 28th?
