HERO FC Presents: “Best of the Best V”

This coming Saturday(June 6th, 2015) Hero Fighting Championship will be hosting their latest installment “Best of the Best V” with Danny Salinas taking on Alex Hernandez in the main event for a new title and contract that the promotion will be handing out. Hernandez hails from San Antonio and has been impressive in all his outings for the 2-year old promotion. Originally slated to be standing across from Hernandez was Ray Banda but that opponent has now been scrapped with Danny Salinas stepping in. It goes without saying but the stakes are high in this match- it’s two number one contenders fighting to be called HERO FC lightweight champion but also for the $50,000 contract that will help them with their fighting endeavors while still supporting their families in the process.

“Best of the Best V” will feature a total of 9 fights with three of those fights being for the title and the remainder of the contract. That’s over 20lbs of gold and over $100,000 on line between those three fights with some great valley talent on display such as the “RGV Bad Boys”, Gilbert and Elias Urbina, Michael Saucedo taking on Nick Bella in a flyweight showdown. Tickets can be bought at HeroFC.net or at the door of the Jacob Brown Auditorium in Brownsville. Weigh-ins will be happening today, June 5th, at the Charlie Clark Nissian in Harlingen at 3pm.
