STFC will be throwing their 23rd event on December 7 with a card that isn’t exactly stacked with names but is stacked with future prospects that we should be seeing more of in a STFC cage in the future.

The man headlining the card is the BJJ phenom Carlos Diego Ferreira(4-0) taking on Jorge Cortez who comes in the fight with two victories and six defeats.

One of the bouts I’m interested in seeing is Heavyweight Javier Rendon. He’s a student at STC, which is where the weigh-ins will be held on Thursday December 6 at 2:00pm at the Pecan campus. His MMARecuiter.com profile lists him at 6’2″ with an undefeated amateur record at 3-0. His profile also lists him as a wrestler that has placed in tournaments so it should be a treat to watch his pro debut. His opponent, Tomas Gomez, comes into the bout at 3-4 according to Sherdog. Hopefully the STFC cage can handle all the humanity that will be in the cage for this bout.
